If you are offended by Procedurettes, just remember that the worst, most repressive societies on Earth are obsessed with respect, dignity, and propriety. Disrespect is imporant; feeling offended is part of the repetoire of human emotions, and it’s perfectly healthy to have this kind of experience. You may find that "if you reject your sense of injury, the injury itself disappears.”
If you feel that Procedurettes is unprofessional, that’s a fairly empty objection. Being “professional” simply means doing what most other physicians would do. Most of the time, that’s a great choice. Sometimes, it’s the worst possible decision you could make.
